1. Bac Ninh makes a breakthrough in self-produced and self-consumed energy transition

Located in the Northern Key Economic Region with numerous large-scale industrial parks, Bac Ninh faces continuously growing demand for electricity. To ensure energy security and meet green manufacturing standards, the province has proactively accelerated the deployment of rooftop solar power.

  • Long-term Target: Under the adjusted Power Development Plan VIII (PDP8), Bac Ninh is allocated a target to develop 3,392 MW of rooftop solar power by 2035.
  • Impressive Results: As of mid-year, the entire province recorded 314 MW of registered capacity, of which 285 MW has officially entered operation, generating approximately 112 million kWh of clean electricity on-site.
